Drakkar Lake. When I'm bored and don't have something in mind to do, I go there and blow stuff up. The topography is nice, there's that big cave with the stone summitt, the slow slog across the lake, and of course, the bunny cave.
In the other three games, Factions is memorable to me in the other way, the claustrophobic and confusing early levels. Pre is nice in Prophecies, but kind of a blur I did 8 months ago. Nightfall has a cool cave area in the areas the MOW quests take you.
But the graphics and scenery in the Northlands of EOTN impress me most. Of course it is the newest game.

Tyria: The Breach. Mainly because it reminds me of my early days in the game.
Cantha: Wajjun Bazaar. I love going into the place with the mime.
Elona: Mirror Of Lyss. Its just plain beautiful.
EoTN: Arbor Bay. Ventari's tree is so cool to see. I happened upon it when I was looking for a Crewe Member.

Tyria: Presearing. Beautiful atmosphere, all around awesome.
Cantha: Pongmei/Jade Sea. The visual effects in these areas are stunning and create a serene feel.
Elona: Forum Highlands. I love that area that you see just after leaving the Bazaar.
Nothern Lands: Drakkar Lake. There is a very relaxing feel to this place as well. There are a couple nice areas as well such as the bunny cave (especially when the monsters spawn as bunnies). It would've been nice for this area to have a more prominent role in EoTN.

Has to be The Falls, and if you are lucky you might get a Totem Axe.

Heres another:

Yesterday, on my way to do the cipher quests, i ran past Ventari's Refuge in Arbor Bay and literally smacked myself. it is BEAUTIFUL. anyone who has ever played WoW, remember Teldrassil? feels an awful lot like that, though less purple-ey blue. especially with the trees walking around, like the elementals near the lake in teldrassil. i took almost 50 screenshots of the place, and am using one of them as my desktop background. completely breathtaking. i say ANET did a WONDERFUL job with the place. 11/10.

tyria: soo many beautiful places, North Kryta Province, Tears of the Fallen (and everything around FIsherman's Heaven), almost every single part of the desert, pre-searing...so many places. i wish they werent abandoned by palyers as they are

factions: not so many scenic places, some parts of jade sea and coastline of kaineng city wajjuns bazar i think its called.

nightfall: Vabbi is terrific, mirror of lyss is by far one of the most beautiful areas in game, also desolation has its charm. only downside is its too monotonous on some points.

GWEN: whitout any discussion - Riven Earth, so cool, so nice, try walking across those small bridges and watching waterfall, and also try going along the river trough the canyon and below those bridges. u'll have to take some screen shots

conclusion: tyria has the biggest number of cool areas and best atmosphere

nice topic

Prophecies: The Falls. I always find some new stuff, and the whole area is just awesome - great ambient lighting in some places.

Factions: Sunqua Vale. Very tranquil, big area, lots of places to go.

Nightfall: Gandara (aka Pogahn Passage). I love the whole militaristic fortress type feel, the fact it's floating out on the sea makes it cooler. Did I mention I loved the Consulate Docks mission? The raging battle music, coordinated flanking, etc.

Eye of the North: Riven Earth. Very lush and green without being overkill (read: Maguuma Jungle). The music is very soothing, and I always enjoy roaming in that place.

The Shiverpeaks.

I love ice themed maps, they add a bit of desolation and fight for survival feel. That kind of hard fantasy atmosphere as in Conan the Barbarian.

Twin Serpent Lakes - its a shame there aren't any quests that send you there (except the Mini Black Moa). The graphics designers excelled in this area. My favorite picture comes from there
